Does a drunk ever say anything he/she doesn't mean or does the drunk always say what was meant?

A drunk when hes drunk? A drunk may tell the truth (doubtful) when hes sober but as the saying goes 'Never trust a drug.' And after a person does a drug long enough, they 'become' that drug.

I think they sometimes say things they don't mean. I don't like drunks. I don't care if they mean everything they say or not. When you can't control your tongue due to drunkenness you have had too much and need to go sober up before your mouth overloads your butt.

in my experiance a drunk will say absolutely anything on any subject at any time as to meaning you need a second drunk-the only trouble is-no better get drunk with the drunk and hope you remmember-cheerzzz

i think that they say what they really mean, having no sober sensor. occasionally though, they may overamplify their thoughts due to the liquor, and come out with something that is predicated on a whimsical, hallucinogenic or paranoid thought- all fairly easy to determine, if you know the person.

Most of the drunks I have known build up what is bothering them and then hit you with it while drinking. Ive always tryed to forgive because they were drinking but deep down I always dwell on it and beat myself up because of their words.

I've heard that a drunk says only what they've thought out beforehand. Drunken lips sink ships. LOL.

My mate said that he'd done loads of stuff with my girlfriend whn he was drunk which was absolute bullshit because he is repulsive. Coincidentally he is no longer my friend. or anyones for that matter. apart from the worms...

I find alcohol causes me to say what would normally just float around in my head. One time I mused about the time I fought in the battle of the Alamo, back when cactuses roamed the earth. That's obviously true.

i think a drunk says what they mean but exaggarates it a lot. e.g., if they like the music a band is playing instead of saying 'I love your music' they might say 'your band is the greatest band in the world, the greatest band I have ever heard!!!'. In other words, i think they get very, very generous with their compliments and also prehaps exaggarate thier insults.

I think there is some truth to everything we blurt out drunk or not.....and just b/c someone is drunk doesn't mean they are incapable of lying.....so it goes both ways
