Help answer this question below.

My parents passed away,they had a house. They left a will stating the house would be in my oldest bro's name and he knew how to distribute it. Well I have been living in the house for 4 years n he says I can do what i want with it, can i legally rent it?

    well he said I could sell it and split the money 50/50 between me and my middle brother because we grew up there, but I want to rent it out and move. I didnt know if i could legally do that if it wasnt in my name even though he said its okay.

    help me here. if your brother says that you can do with it what you want, why would you want to begin paying rent? to whom would it be paid? will he let you sell the house and keep some of the money? were you living there before they died? were you a minor since the time of your parents' death?
