The media is supposed to be independent, but I'm sure that they are controlled by the same group of people that are running everything else in the world.

Good question. I think we can see who controls or at least strongly influences FoxNews. I have a hard time figuring who might be putting words in the mouths of newscasters on ABC CBS NBC CNN etc. Maybe the other answers here will help me find out.
