  • I have lived in Las Vegas (near the Boulder Station casino) since 1992, and used to be employed as a kind of "scout" for various modeling agencies, when I was in college (U of MN) in the 1960s and 70s. Today, there are modeling jobs for people of all sizes and shapes, as evidenced by the "Avenue" and "Lane Bryant" catalogs. No longer does a woman have to be a 5' 8" minimum. Get yourself to a photo studio and get what's known as a "Model's Portfolio" made. An excellent studio for that in Las Vegas is this one, whom I have used before, and can personally recommend, highly: http://www.janimaephotography.com/index.php They will give you excellent photos, and Jani was a photographer for PLAYBOY® magazine, so she and her associates will know exactly how to make you look your very best. After your portfolio is completed (at VERY reasonable rates, I might add), then ask Jani for a recommendation about which agencies you should visit, to register for work. I wish you all the success in the world! +5
