I collect because I enjoy it. Frankly my collections will probably not be of any value to anyone else but me.

I collect because I enjoy it. I've had people ask me about what certain items are worth and I couldn't tell them. Monetary value isn't important to me.

I think I collect things out of some quirk of personality. Often I neither enjoy nor covet the monetary value of what I collect.

Completely monetary. I don't keep those state quarters because I enjoy their company.

I collect some things because I have inherited them but my Porcelain Dancers and Bronzes I collect because I love them. Yes they are worth money but I would never sell them.

I collect things because I enjoy the thing I am collecting. To me it is like a piece of art.

I started collecting carnival glass because it's so incredibly beautiful to look at. Now, I'm considering the possible market value later on. Still, the main thing is that I really enjoy my collection and taking care of it.
