Would you ever consider having a vacation on a farm?

All my vacations take place on a farm. That's where I live! ;) Haha! But really, farms are quite peaceful. Unless you have a feedlot next to, or downwind of, the house.

Yes. We vacationed one year at a farm/ranch that was operated as a horse ranch and farm in the summer and in the winter a ski resort.

Most of my "vacations" from school as a kid were on a farm. It was never all play. But it was very much fun,..mostly. The barn cleanings were not the best job, but most of the rest was OK. And there was a lot of free time. Fishing in the creek, horseback riding, and lots of outdoor parties and cookouts. Skinny dipping...(lol)

I've would actually like to live on one, it would be a vacation every day, I would also have a cat named Toto, and a dog named Garfield. Plus 27 wives, servants and a dungeon for the ones that misbehave. Plus I would need a large court for a collection of garden gnomes and other lawn ornamentation. This would be cool.

My Grandparents lived in the country and I visited there frequently! It was not always a "vacation" though; there was PLENTY of hard work; they had horses, chickens, and more!! +5 Thanks for the memories!

After my brother got married he had a farm,every summer I went to visit.He had a cattle farm so not much work for me.I had so much fun.

Sounds like a lot of work to me. Vacation is a time of rest and relaxation. Not heaving hay.

I've stayed in several bed and breakfasts that were also farms, I would heartily recommend it!

That wouldn't be considered a vacation to me. IT would be reliving a part of my life Id care to forget.

Yeah :) I've wanted to for awhile but don't really think that could happen. Don't really know how to go about it and the family would probably think I'm weird haha
