Possibility: I've heard sirens. Joe McCarthy conducted massive witch hunts in the middle of the last century. There are people everywhere claiming to be psychics. Accountability: I have always seen emergency vehicles accompanying sirens. Joe McCarthy has been pretty well discredited as paranoiac. Psychics have not yet presented any evidence that I find compelling.

witch hunts, I can understand why they could have been real. Sirens...I don't know what to think. Psychics: I do believe, only because I've had too many experiences that cannot be brushed off as coincidence.
