Where you live, if you say "I haven't had a bath in months", would that mean that you haven't washed yourself in months or that you only had showers? Would taking a shower count as "having a bath"?

Yes, that would say to me you haven't bathed in months. Taking a shower counts as having a bath. If you get into and sit a bathtub filled with water, that's a tub bath.

lol i need to keep more ice cream coming. in my neck of the woods showers and baths are distinct... i can honestly say i have not had a bath in ages but i take showers daily or more. +5

it could mean both some people only take baths, and some only shower, whereas many do both, so there's a 50-50 chance on the meaning
