Not sure, but the dog in Men and Black had a cigar, whats the chances?
-
It's not smart or wise but I don't think it's horribly harmful..maybe a little cruel but not deadly.
-
why, do you do this? i hope not... i think it might be because of the smoke/"fumes" from the marijuana...and chemicals in it.
-
Harmful to whom?
-
Well, I'm sure it can't be any better for the dog than for you...
-
my dog seems to like it...
-
I dont know but smoking marrijuna is not good for you at all
-
Especially if the dog doesn't like enough that he/she bites your face off.
-
Yes, it is. The dog is getting second-hand smoke just as a human would, with identical damage to their lungs. Does the dog get high? I don't know. I don't know if tetrahydracannibol works on a dog's brain chemistry the way it does on ours. If it does, it's pretty cruel, because the dog will get disoriented and not know why, which is EXTREMELY stressful for them. It will not "mellow them out." If your dog needs sedatives, your vet will be happy to prescribe them, and they won't hurt the dog's lungs. If you just want to watch an animal get high, take some catnip from any pet store over to a friend who has cats, and is willing to let you do this. The cat becomes TOTALLY stoned pretty quickly, and it doesn't hurt them. But never give them anything else, and please, no pot, no beer, no ANYTHING for a dog unless your vet gives it to you.

Any smoke is bad for anyone.

all u people are stupid. its harmless. im not saying i do it or condone it im just saying. its a natural substance so dont even try to begin to say its the same as beer because the two are very different. including cigarette smoke. what health risk has it ever caused anyone. seriously.look it up.get informed.its not a bad "drug" alcohol kills not weed. its a great tool to use in life...not for dogs.which i can see how to the person who says it freaks them out and makes them high and they get stressed because they dont know why-i see that part.i agree that would most likely be the case.but as far as a health issue.NO.get informed people.
-
its not harmfull but it isnt 'harmless' either you dont know how they will react to it and they cant convey to you how they are feeling they may seem perfectly fine but inside they may be scared shitless and having a horrible trip no one should ever get another high without their consent
-
use a vaporizer.+3

Look, I'm an advocate for legalizing Marijuana. But I dont try to act like it's perfectly harmless. And all that aside, the biggest harm is forcing any living thing to get high that doesnt want to. It's f*cked up to blow pot smoke in a kid's face and it's f*cked up to do it to an animal also. At least a person knows what will happen to them. An animal can't handle that sh*t. They can panick because they dont understand what the hell is going on. I've seen dogs that have gotten high by accident and they seemed real scared and confused. That sh*t ain't cool man. That makes me feel sick.

Interestingly enough, a man who exposed a kitten to marijuana smoke was arrested for animal neglect/cruelty yesterday. It made the national news today. "Jarrett said Schomaker told deputies the cat was out of control and he wanted to calm him down. Schomaker was arrested for the warrant, possession of marijuana and animal neglect/abuse. Bob Downey with the Capital Humane Society said they're checking the kitten for lung damage. He said the kitten appears to be a little raspy, "but (it's) certainly a treatable condition and it won't prevent us from being able to find a new home for the cat once it becomes our property." Downey says they'll work with the Lancaster County Sheriff's office, and Lancaster County Attorney, to get custody of the cat so it eventually can be adopted."

Any kind of passive smoking is harmful to another human being or animals, plese don't do it to the dog it is not right, if you want to smoke it that is your decision but don't bring an innocent dog into it because it just is not right and is unhealthy.
-
No, because he'll have to tell his little doggie pals he never inhales... ;) jk
-
It's downright cruel, the dog does not even have the opportunity to say no to drugs! I once knew a guy that got his cat high on a routine basis, it was pitiful.
