  • Climb the Eiffel Tower or take a picture of the Arc de Triomphe. Take lots of pictures! And finally, tell me all about it, jk...
  • Fall in love! You HAVE to fall in love! It doesn't have to be with a person. You can fall in love with the food, the art, the weather, the landmarks, the culture, the language, the scenery, the wine, the night life... anything, but it's Paris... you MUST fall in love! :)
  • Go up the Eiffel Tower, take a walk down the Champs-Elysées, Do you love art? Don't miss the Louvre for anything.
  • I was there for over a week.It is almost impossible to see everything, and it seams to be a city that never stops.Spring has the cherry blossoms, and the light rain.La metro (underground subway) is a great way of getting around and not get lost.Everthing is in very close locations to each other for the city is condensed. The Louvre (art gallery) could take many days to see itself. You should also rent a car and go into the countryside and get another side of French culture.I lived in Vittel(where the bottled water comes from) France for 3 months and it was great.
  • Eat croissants and escargot! With that long French bread and assorted cheeses..ooooo can I go?!
  • You don't HAVE to do a damn thing! There are many recommendations, however, as previously listed. Relax and take a riverboat cruise from the Pont Neuf, try one of the open top bus tours.... don't rush around like a poulet sans tete...
  • Besides a strong suggestion to visit the popular monuments and take a great touristy picture, I would recommend visiting a small gelato/ sorbet shop on the Ile de Cite, Berthillon. It tastes better than words can describe.
  • NOrte Dame-definatly. Even if you aren't Catholic or "religious." The building itself is a wonderful piece of art and you could spend hours just looking at the outside. I had the most fun in Paris when we just wondered and found things. Figure out the metro system for sure and know which stop your hotel is closest to. Keep a hand on your purse/money for sure. Do NOT carry your passport around town, leave it locked in your hotel room. And eat a crepe Nutella-best thing EVER!
