I think you already know the answer to this one, so I'll assume you are just looking for opinions. Yes it is possible. However, if the church is worth its salt they'll get rid of such a person before they do anymore damage than they already have. That kind of person needs help. They are SERIOUSLY misguided, ignorant, nosey, and cruel. Hopefully one will come to a place where they find more constructive things to do.

The Christian Church is a political organisation not a religious organisation. It is possible to belong to the Christian Church and not follow Christian belief.

When it comes to the term Christian, it means, in a modern way, Christ-like. So to not believe in heaven and act negatively toward ANYONE isn't Christ-like at all. Because Jesus LIVED in heaven. It's like saying you don't believe your own neighborhood exists, it just doesn't make much sense. Like Jesus said many times,'So faith, without action, is dead.' Basically, what He was trying to say, was that you can tell if someone's faith is alive or not by the fruits of that faith, or what comes from that faith as an outcome. If they're so mean all the time, they're probably not saved. So basically, the church is a body of believers, or of saved Christians. So to answer your question, I would say that the person you're talking about probably isn't Christian, and therefore isn't part of the church either. At least not in the spiritual sense... which is what really matters.
