i think when the sun dies, it will take out the earth with it. so in a way; yes.

it's a star, and stars go through a cycle. it doesn't just die out. it will expand and then contract. and when it expands, it is likely that it will consume the earth.

Earth won't run off it's orbit.Sun would engulf it during it's Red Gaint phase.Even Mars won't be spared.

According to the prevalent scientific theory, the earth will be long gone before the sun. Before the sun shrinks to even white dwarf stage, it will grow into a red giant, engulfing the inner planets. Better start saving to build that getaway spaceship now.

I think yes because the main reason that the earth is rotating in an orbit is that it rotat around it self and around the sun due to the sun's gravity which is released by rotating the sun around it self atracting the whole 9 planets to rotate around it.
