  • Interesting. Sounds like a homework question to me, and therefore should be answered by the questioner in their own words and style. For ME: Friends are people we get along with, no matter what. We know each others' buttons and only press them in a teasing manner, and even then, only occasionally. We also usually know each others' families and their families know us. Some friends are nice people to everyone, some only to us, but can be nasty to others, or to people we don't like. Some friends we are closer to than others. Not all of our friends know as much as others do. And, you can't be friends without talking. You can be acquaintances, and get along, but those aren't really your friends. Friends you do things with. Friends you talk to outside of school/work. Now... if this is homework, please take into account what you feel, see what I wrote as an example, and do it yourself. DO NOT plagiarize what I wrote for your homework. If it's not homework, I hope this helps. ;-)
