  • No. People should be able to learn about anything they want to learn about this day and age.
  • No, I do not. So long as they meet the standards for academic cirriculum that will prepare children for life and college, I see no reason why they should not exist.
  • I have had two bad experiences with religious schools. They more or less ruined my childhood. First, I'm indoctrinated by a group of psychos that thought I was possessed by demons or something. Then, I am treated like a criminal for no reason and am forced to feel remorse for things that I didn't do. So, I think you can see where I'm coming from when I say that I really wouldn't mind if all of these schools and the so-called teachers who work there were destroyed.
  • I think that if they meet/exceed the same educational standards as conventional schools then they should be allowed... but with one big restriction. They must be TOTALLY privately funded. Not one red cent of tax-payer money. I'll only fund your religious schools when your taxes start subsidizing Satanic rituals as well. Otherwise, separation of church and state.
  • Is everyone OK with me opening a Satanic school, assuming that I meet the educational standards? It irks me when religious school parents complain about having to pay twice. I don't have any kids and I still have to pay for public school. The benefit I receive is that the general public has a basic education, which contributes to the GNP. That is independant of whether I have children or not. For what it's worth, my school (Santa Clara School of Law) is a Jesuit institution. Never had any religion forced on me there. Great school, actually. But I have heard lots of horror stories about nuns at private high schools. And, when I was growing up, all the real party girls were the ones from Catholic schools. I quess they haven't figured out that if you repress teenagers they just rebel in even worse ways.
  • Yes, I do. If you wanna practice your faith then keep it within the place of worship. If you wanna have a religious school then it should be just dedicated to that faith. Education and Religious beliefs/faith should not be mixed.
  • No everybody shold be going to fate schools because if your parents dont teach you about god at least the school will and people shols beleif in God or they will be sinners.
  • No I think parents should be allowed to put their children in them if that is their wishes. I do not however like people forcing their children to go if it is making the childs life more stressful. Some of my freinds have their children in christain schools and the kids love it and do not want to change.
  • No I'd prefer to send my children to a school run by the church. I'd have better control and knowledge over what they learned.
  • they should continue to function but the sexual molestation must stop.
  • Yes. Many religious "schools" are not schools, but institutes for brainwashing and propaganda. They would never exist if they couldn't "brainwash" the children.
