I don't lie... and I certainly do not help elleged friends when they have done wrong... however I would tell deceptive truths to help them when they have not done wrong by my standard.

No, lying is not good at all, and it only makes the situation worser, plus a true friend would not put me in that situation.

It would depend on what the situation was. If it was something of a serious nature no I probably wouldn't. Like drinking and driving I have had a friends parent ask me if their daughter was drunk and drove home that night. To me she was endangering her life plus the life of any other person on that road. So no lie. But if it was something stupid and wasn't going to harm themselves or others yea I would. I honestly think people place to much emphasis on lying in general. You know..like my mom was married to this ahole who lied and lied to get what he wanted, while my mom was completely honest and truthful..well he seemed to always get the better end of the stick. Face it sometimes you just have to lie. Being the nice honest person doesn't always get you real far.
