Certainly not of gay men, but when one of my best friends announced on a full train in a loud voice that she was a feminist lesbian, I was taken aback and a little repulsed by it. I then felt uncomfortable being in the same room as her. Now that I am used to it, I no longer feel the same way and thoroughly enjoy her company.

No. But, I'll say this at the risk of recieving a huge backlash, I'm afraid that homosexuality is becoming too celebrated. I don't think gay people are 'bad' or 'wrong', but I think rampant homosexuality is sign that something has gone awry in the natural psychological and/or physical make-up of a human being. It sounds awful when people say "Homosexuality is a sickness", but in a sense, it is. A sickness is an unnatural change in the body or mind that takes place because of a reaction to something else. I don't think homosexual people should hide or have any less rights than anyone else, but I'm not comfortable with homosexuality being all over the television, having 5 parades a year to celebrate it, have t.v. stations devoted to it, etc. The reason I'm not comfortable with it isn't because gay people scare me or offend me, it's because it's gone from "It's evil" (which is wrong), to "It's accepted" (which is right), to "Everybody should be gay!" (which is wrong). I think being pro-gay is just as dangerous as being anti-gay. Teaching a kid to hate gay people is wrong, but influencing a kid to be gay is also wrong, and I think that's what is beginning to happen. Purely from a scientific, biological, and sociological standpoint, homosexuality is dangerous, both as a whole and individually.

Well as long as the gay guys dont hit on me then i really dont care. Ive got a few gay and les friends, i just make it apparent i dont float that way. I definitley wouldnt spend the night at a gay friends house though lol unless i had too XD But otherwise they are people just like us.
