I have heard a Philippine Lydia server GM say once-- "There's 3000 of you and one of me." It would be difficult if not impossible to watch over each and ever one of the 2,876 or so players who regulary login to a server [and we're talking about Lydia here, not Chaos or Loki servers @_@]. so far, there doesn't seem to be any other way for a GM to know there's a bot other than another player reporting about it. Even if GMs decided to monitor, say, a bot user online, most bot programs have ways of keeping its activities under wraps. For example, if you try to send a Personal Message to a botter, it could reply with "___ is not in the mood to talk to anyone", or have a generic line like "sorry but I'm busy right now". The only clues I have about a possible botter is someone who teleports VERY FAST and VERY OFTEN, and NEVER PICKS UP HIS/HER LOOT /heh.

In pRO - Odin 90% of players on payon cave lvl4 between 12am to 6am are botters. 99% of active players knew it, thnx I'm not GM co'z I knew it =) weeeeeeeeee!!! btw New PATCH eliminates some botters in many maps, but i hate my weapon coz everytime I hit a monster = 90% curse back to me (hmmm wat a low chance)

they really cant , but if a Gm found that person suspicious . He/she would just PM that person if that person he/she founds suspicious then the gm should use @hide and go to that person bu using @warpto and starts asking questiong or just saying a normal hi if the suspicious person doesnt answer then its a bot. The server im at is new and its not offcial yet but we already try having someone bot and it will tell that the GM the person char name saying its hacking. So its not hard to tell.
