Ive been in a relationship for 3 years. At the beginning by boyfriend would usualy pay for everything exept for the odd time when he would give in to me insisting I pay. Now its really even I would say. I never expect him to always pay.

We tend to share it but really never bother who pays for what. I think we must sort of keep a mental tally like, 'well I'll get these cause you paid last night', sort of thing.

I try to but it usually doesn't turn out that way. I always find a way to repay them for being so sweet and insistent though.

Generally. Or at least... I try. It more turns into one person getting the meal, the other getting the movie, etc. I try to pay my half, but I've learned not to argue when the man refuses to accept me paying.

Initially no. I think that if he can't afford to buy tickets or dinner or whatever, he can't afford to be dating.
