Which is better in your opinion, 60's or 70's rock? And why?

The rock music in those decades was decidedly different so it's hard to say which I like better.

I think 70's sound bettter for me.

60's. When Rock 'n Roll was real. The original. When you could actually hear the words and dance to it, when it was real music not just noise. There is nothing like the original of anything.

I cant really decide between 60's and 70's rock I mean I think that it was the later part of the 60's and the early part of the 70's

70s, I prefer more bands from that era and they tended to be harder. Also AC/DC appeared then....

70's. Many things. 60's stuff was still greatly influenced by lounge and doo wah styles. Everyone kind of broke through those barriers in the 70's. The timing was right for a lot of new sounds to be incorporated.

That really is a tough one. The 60's influenced the 70's. If we never had the music of the 60's we'd still be listening to Lawrence Welk...well, bit of an exaggeration. I have to go with both.

50s! neither 60s or 70s. We had much better singers in the 50s

70's!!!! You got Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Elton John, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, KISS and so many others. It was rockin' time for rock music.
