This guy who I told off called me after a month. I missed the call then called him back. He didn't respond or call me back. What's his deal? I told him not to call me anymore.

I am just speculating here, however, he probably had a few beers and got lonely. When I used to drink, I sometimes called old girlfriends and friends. He probably still likes you. You are wise not to lead him on. If you told him off, I do not see any future in either of your correspondence. I would just leave him alone. He will get the message. +5

He might think it's a good idea at the time but then decides he can't be bothered. He sounds fairly confused and cowardly if he can't return the call he initated in the first place, which to my mind makes him a messer and you don't need to lose sleep over a messer.

Maybe he thought he called someone else and left you a message by mistake. I've done that before. I wrote a text message to a girl I thought was a girl who I had just met, and it turned out it was a girl I had already gone on a date with who told me she didn't want to date me anymore because I was too nice, happy, and honest. She responded to my text message with "Alright, alright, fine, I'll go out with you again." It was kind of fun telling her I didn't mean to text message her and that I was trying to ask another girl out.

Maybe he considers you more of a challenge now. Whatever the reason I don't think his motives are well intended. My advice would be to stay away from him.

He didn't call you back.....what are you complaining about?

It makes no sense to me to call someone to tell him not to call you. Just ignore the calls. If you have an answering machine delete his calls. Screen all your calls and only pick up when you want to talk to the person who calls you...that's what we do. I guess I don't see what the problem is here, unless he starts to stalk you.

It's hard to say what his particular deal is, but if I were you I would just ignore him. Don't call him anymore. If you happen to see he's calling you, and you want to take the call, go ahead; but don't call him back if you miss it. And you can block his number if you really never want to talk to him again.
