Personally, no. My parents do. The door to which was the "closet" door in my bedroom growing up.

I do, but I do not trust the pull down stairs to hold me, so I have to have one of the kids do all the work when adding or removing something from the attic.

No attic here. We do have a "manhole" in the laundry ceiling, but have never had a reason to stick my head up there in the dark and cobwebs, other than to check out a starlings nest several years ago.

No attic. I could cut a hole for crawl up access.
