Yes. I've had many guy friends who were comfortable enough around me to eventually 'come out' either that they were gay or bisexual. A girlfriend of mine told me she was gay and had feelings for me. We're still friends, but nothing ever came of it and I just had to tell her I didn't feel the same way. It upset her, but she's over it now.

Well, sort of. I convinced a friend years and years ago that he wasn't doing himself any favors (or his health) by not disclosing he was HIV+ {where appropriate, of course}. This is "coming out" of a different type than your question may have meant.
