Do you know anyone who is allergic to natural rubber latex? Is it a serious health concern?

Me. I was getting fever blisters every time the dentist cleaned my teeth. Once we figured out it was the latex in his gloves, they switched to non-latex gloves and I've had no more problems. I'm guessing it's more of an annoyance than a serious health concern, but I have no proof.

Yes - I am. And it can cause some trouble at work for me....so I avoid the shop when they are casting tubing.

allergies can kill even latex ... i feel for those allergic because of condom problem must use sheepskin and those babies are expensive.
