  • Yes it can. You risk long-term damage from oxygen deprivation at least. Why not switch to daily-disposables, then at least your eyes get a break while you sleep
  • There are some contacts that are meant for constant wear. I would ask you eye doctor or call the company that makes your lenses and find out if they are extended wear lenses.
  • Yaa its dangerous to use them on 24/7 basis.u need to give your eyes a break.atlest while sleeping.Bacterial growth may occur in them while you sleep.while you have cold they may show other side effects.so while washing your eyes bathing or sleeping just put them off in the solution provided to you.keep them clean.wearing them all the time is not hygenic.
  • If your Contact Lenses are for sleeping in you willhave no problems at all, however if you accidently leave your contact lenses in when they are not for sleeping in you can actually damage your eyes, they will become sore red and puffy, i am my self a conact lens wearer, and made the mistake of leaving mine in and eneded up with really sore eyes, however if your lenses are constant wearing lenses they are specially designed for sleping in, they allow the eye to breathe so ou should not have any problems wearing them 24/7. I hope this will help answer your question.
