If we could block all UV radiation from entering the earths atmosphere, what changes would we see on earth?

Nice Question Max power .First of all blocking all uv radiation would put an unbalanced effect on earth. First of all people wont suffer from skin problems due to sun.ozone would be protected.But some studies also say that UV supports some sort of life on earth and it is helpful for sustenance of life on earth.And the site www.newscientist.com/article.ns also says that uv might have been responsible for starting of life on earth.So as per the studies the effect wont be that much healthy on our part. But one thing is for sure, that by reducimg the amount of Uv incident on earth life would be benifited on earth.

We would all freeze! A significant proportion of the Suns energy reaches us in the form of UV radiation. Most is absorbed in the atmosphere. Block the UV from reaching Earth at all, and Earth cools down. A lot.

We wouldn't freeze.....well i guess it depends on what is blocking (absorbing) the UV light. UV light does contain A LOT of energy. However, infrared light has a greater impact on the heating of the earth. Look up the consitituans of the atmosphere (what it is composed of) and then look at what wavelengths are being absorbed by each of the constituants. That will translate into heat and thus will tell you how much it would cool assuming the removal of UV light is taking place before it hits earths atmosphere. If the removal of UV light is taking place IN the atmosphere it is hard to say what the changes would be....but probably warmer.
