    The real secret? They use a yeast dough (like sweet bread) ...different from most donut recipes who use a cake dough.

    Don't forget it mostly sugar and fried. It's also probably considered bad for you; which by default automatically makes it taste good. (Just ask a cop for their opinion!)

    lots of fat and sugar add to the flavor. plus they are warm and silky soft. too much fat for me. i have had bad experiences with krispy kreme. i am not going back. their coffee was ugly.
