  • 1) You MIGHT be able to find a list online. Enter the name of graveyard and location (city/town, state, maybe county) in Google, and see if someone has listed them. 2) Go to http://www.usgenweb.org/ , select the state, then select the county. See if the coordinator has anything for cemeteries in the area. 3) If you know who took care of the cemetery (church, trustee, etc.), see if they're still around, and talk to them about the list. 4) Go to the local township trustee or county clerk, and see what information they have. 5) Go to the library, relatively near the graveyard. If they have a genealogy center there, ask the person running it if they have any books with that information in them. 6) Go to the local (to the graveyard) genealogy or historical center. Maybe they have a listing/book. 7) Go to the local health department and see how they have their burial records organized. It's quite possible you can get a list, this way. 8) Go to the state history library. Maybe they do. (Note: Many of the above have information online.) If no one has a list, you may have to try to build one from burial records. If you DO do this, it would be nice if you listed more than just those family members you are interested in finding. Actually, ANYplace that has those records, it would be nice to others who are looking for information, if you could/would gather as much as you could and publish it, either in a book (make some money!) or online, for free. Either way, donate a copy to the local library and/or genealogical/history groups.
