  • No, but I have an old, dirty peace sign patch that was supposedly a product of Woodstock:)
  • Woodstock was not even known about on the West coast until it was almost over. It was an East coast event.
  • Well, in a way, yes. I was 16, in high school and into music. After Canned Heat and Cream, Woodstock came along and swept us away for awhile. What was it? Love Peace and Drugs?
  • My parents are a product of Woodstock and Vietnam, so I'm partially a product of that era...
  • My parents were the poster children for straight laced middle America... I'm a product of the rhythm method.
  • It was a little before my time....but I loved the artists, like Jimi Hendricks + 5
  • I was ther at 16 and it was great, but I had the SATS that tuesday and nobody caed about my adventure. I'm in the movie and I was even on the Datline special last week. Damn I was young, and I had a lot of hair. A year later the movie came out and it looked like a sex and drug fest which it wasn't. People were discreet, and there was a lot of pot smoking and acid, but the Dateline reporter said there was a death fro an overdose. There was only one fatality, a boy from my city decided to sleep in the cornfield and was run over by a tractor. Concert goers were nice, most shared what they had, The town folk were rude and greedy. I went to a house wher people were lined up at a handpump to fill their water jugs and the cost was one dollar a quart. Cigarettes were a dollar- 2 dollars. Reg price was 25 cents. I don't recall one bad incident. I do consider it a turning point in my life.
