Sedan. Which is sort of what I have now, except that it's classified as a wagon and some people call it an SUV (which is not the least bit accurate, wagon is far more accurate). It's a Scion xB. We just call it the MUAV (Mini Urban Assault Vehicle). That's what happens when you hang around a lot of military folks, they acronym everything to death :)

- @RFlagg: It is a fabulous car. Fuel efficient, parctical, cheap, and damned reliable. I finally gave up on "status cars" :) It's huge on the inside too and you can flip the back seats down and fit skis, 4x4s, whatever in without any problems.

I miss my old 4WD Civic Wagon. It was like a Subaru Forester; not quite a wagon but not quite an SUV. Big yet small.

I am a mid-size sedan kinda gal. My current sedan is a 2003 Subaru Legacy. It's AWD and better on gas than any SUV on the market. So I get the looks of a sedan, the practicality of AWD in New England, and moderatelly good fuel economy, too! Can't beat that!

A sedan. I like sitting low to the ground and the ability to corner sharp curves without much concern. My Camry is the best vehicle I've ever owned...period.

- Yep, but I've lived in enough snowy places that I know when to slow down and how to drive out of a skid. The heavier car does help out in the snow though because it has more traction.

- yeah, i think it's kind of fun once you learn how to drive out of a skid! i just had to add that comment after seeing so many stupid people who think driving an SUV makes them invincible or something... 4 wheel drive only works when you have traction. that's a fun fact that some people don't seem to realize. ;)

a sedan...perferbaley a compact...why? because now our gas prices are soaring over the 3.00 mark...darn oil barons. what if we had a hummer? we'd go broke and homeless living out of our SUV

Sedan! I prefer "real" cars. I am neutral on SUVs and trucks. As for minivans, I have never liked them. It's impossible to design an attractive one, I guess due to the basics of a van. I don't like driving them either. Can't feel the road.

I currently drive a Mazda 3 sedan with 5-speed manual transmission.

- i'm not sure about the exact details, so i would guess i've done something similar about 4 years ago. i avoid the snow now, for the most part. i will admit 4 wheel drive can make it easier, but with experience (and a good teacher), i would bet you could do it without the 4 wheel drive. of course, you'd need good tires and if it's rear wheel drive, that's pretty tricky. anyhow, i wasn't trying to sound mean or anything, i just think 4 wheel drive is overrated. there's only a few times i've been in a vehicle that it seemed neccessary. (although, i'll admit that some drivers i've been with have pulled off manuvers better than i might be able to.)

I like my SUV,I have owned a Toyota 4~runner loved it, and then a Chevy Suburban as kids were getting bigger, and now my GMC Yukon XL love it! I have driven a mini van and I didn't prefer that so much.

a sedan. all the other ones suck up way too much gas and are a pain in the arse to park downtown or manuver in the hills (with skinny, windy roads).
