Michael Landon, in Little House on the Prairie. I loved that show, and I still think of it sometimes, and remember what a close, loving and supportive family they were, as they clawed out a living in the woods with barely any of the necessities of life available. Michael Landon was Charles Ingolls, the best father on a tv series I can remember. He was fair yet strict with discipline and he loved his children - his own and their adopted - unconditionally and was a strong man, in his faith as well as his body. Oh, and he wasn't too hard on the eyes, either! hehe

My own dad was fine. :) But if I had to choose...well, all the sitcom dads I know are too strict. Danny Tanner, Phillip Banks, that dude from family Matters or Red Foreman...I pick Al Bundy. :D As long as he didn't name me "Corona" or something. >_> Wait no, I choose Uncle Phil after all; he's rich! :D
