I am not a doctor and cannot tell you that, but I can approach your question from some other aspects: It simply could be that the man is broke and does it because he will win a bet or he will impress someone of the opposite sex by showing that he has guts ( like in a song by Rod Stewart where he promises to run through 5. Avenue entirely naked to have a night with "you"...) or he might have emptied a bottle of booze which robbed him of his rational thinking.

How funny (but not if it is at my house!). I think he either caught in the streaking phase a little too late and is perfectly sane but wants shock; or he may be bipolar in a manic phase. We'll see why he thinks he is so 'not guilty.' +4

why does it have to be a psychological imbalance? it could be he's in an apartment complex, only just escaped his apartment and is warning everyone the building is on fire. Or he could just be drunk. You might as well ask what psychological imbalance makes someone modify a car to make lots of noise (by disabling the silencer, removing a spark plug, making flaps on the tires) and driving round a residential area at 3 am

He would probably say it's all his mothers fault. He suffered from lack of attention as a child and boy is he making up for it now.
