Because it really makes it hard to try to read and understand what you are trying to say.

So you pronounce it both pronowncee and pronownce? Interesting accent then. (And grammar and spelling are too different things) I don't mind it. If done really well to show an accent I actually quite like it. I just find it irritating when people write in an unreadable fashion. Or use it in formal situations
