Yes. The lovely AA man helped us by towing us home, with the only charge being to take my mother out on a date. (I was not happy about this, but she was)

I got into an accident on my way to work on morning and my car wouldn't start so I couldn't even get it off the road. Well a guy that works at a place my husband and I just bought our bedroom set from pulled over and helped me. Now my husband is his boss.

I actually ran out of gas just last week. I helped myself by having 5 gallons in the back of my truck.

I was on my police motorcycle back in the 70's. this was the generation of flowers and men wearing long hair. My motorcycle suddenly quit running and i had called a tow truck. while waiting, a young male white with long hair, stopped and asked if he could be of assistance to me. i said no and thanked him for asking. To be honest, i never thought much of men who wore long hair. this incident changed my mind. You can't judge a book by looking at its cover.

Yeah, we had a winter storm and went in the ditch. Our car was stuck and the first van that went by picked us up. She was a young woman with crosses and gospel music playing. Nice lady!

i hit a big kangaroo on the way to a smaller town in the middle of no-where around 1am on a sunday morning. a truckie helped me... i was so so scared because he was huge and covered in beard and tatts haha. the car was a write off and i had cuts on my neck face and arms so he gave me a lift to the hospital too.

I just have to share this one.... I broke down right on a railroad crossing...car just died, so I get out of my car and try to push it off the tracks, this very large man pulled up in a truck and watched me push my car, while my kid is steering off the tracks and off the road then he asks me if I need any help (by the way i am a lady, but i wanted to say to him...Hell no!) I just happenend to not have my cell, so I did borrow his cell to call someone who would actually help me...the nerve....shew glad to get that off my chest...lol
