If you felt remorse over the way you ended a relationship way way in the past, should you try to find the person and apologize?

i think you should. i've tracked down a couple of people, i don't know how they felt about it. a couple have found me and i thought it was very nice of them.

This is something that seems to happen in movies and tv a lot. I'm not sure how it would work in real life. I suppose it depends on the level of remorse and also the relationship you had. If you abruptly and rudely ended a 1 week relationship its probably not best to try and make amends. If it was a serious relationship and you were together for a long time - it might be a good idea. Then again if you track this person down and show up on their doorstep now, with an apology, they might find it a little scary and inappropriate. I guess I could have just said "It depends"
