bagicide stayed 10 months too long

The first trip was for slamming my finger in the locked door of an early seventies Camaro. The lock was broken and could only be opened from the outside, and the driver was on the inside. It bled under the nail all evening until the pressure and pain got so bad that I got shocky and had to go to the ER to have the nail punctured with a red hot paper clip, which relieved the pressure.

The second trip was for being mauled by a horse, including a star fracture and a 2 inch deep wound that grazed the bone and pulled out tissue. That was almost thirty years ago, and I still have hoof prints all over my legs that never went down.

The third trip was for being bitten by my own dog, after he ran into the wheel of a moving horse van and got flipped, fracturing his pelvis.

I had two trips when I delivered pizza for a living, one for popping my hip out of socket while swinging out of the car on one leg while rotating to pick up the pizza, the other for sliding across a wet concrete and linoleum floor running for the bathroom while they were screaming at me about a pizza that was almost late on the warmer. I landed on my elbow and it swelled double almost instantly. I sat in the ER for about 8 hours waiting to be seen, and the person next to me, who'd been there and having chest pains the whole time still hadn't been seen, so I gave it up and went home and iced it. The things that happen when you have to hurry for a living.

I've had a trip a few years ago for sticking a crowbar into my face, when a rotten step I was prying off gave way without warning.

I had two trips in an ambulance a couple of months ago when I started having sudden onset severe headaches every time I went to the bathroom, post-surgical. It took them two trips to be certain that I wasn't stroking out. After that, I suffered through them at home until they quit. Apparently it was hormonal changes and leftover anesthesia.

I might have had a couple of earlier trips. I can't remember where mom took me for a tetanus shot after I'd been bitten by my gerbil and my mouse.

in no particular order: sprained ankles, torn wrist ligaments, impalation, gashes needing stitches, auto accidents, hydrocele (most painful), and a staph infection in my blood that almost killed me (would have died if i had waited just a few more hours to go)

A couple of months ago a freak martial arts training accident left the skin hanging off of my right big toe. Five stitches held it in place until the new skin grew in. Let me tell you about needles in the toe; the most excruciating pain I have ever felt.

I have to be desperate to go through those doors. The few times I have gone for myself was because something was bleeding and I needed stitches.

I was running barefoot on my parent's farm and my foot landed directly on a broken bottle. I cut my foot pretty deep with a circular cut and it wouldn't stop bleeding, so my mom took me to the hospital where my foot had to soak in some weird stingy stuff so the blood would stop gushing out so they could put stiches in it. Let me tell you that wasn't a fun summer for me, since I had to use crutches...

In 1985 I had my remaining testicle go into torsion. It was very painful, and the only choice was to have it cut off. That left me with no balls, and shortly thereafter I had my empty scrotum removed becausae I didn't want fake testicles. I'm happy with the decision I made. My wife consented to it, and we enjoyed sex for a long time after my surgery.

I was in for severe constipation, although I thought it was something worse due to the intense pain. It was a Saturday night and I was over a thousand miles from home and my normal doctor - and it really hurt! I felt silly when the problem turned out to be constipation.

Having my hands and feet mangled and dismembered. I'm typing my answers with my tongue. I forgot to mention I lost my nose as well.

I won't go into all the gory details of my accident, but I will say never kick a chiwawa (I know I spelled that wrong, but I don't know how to spell it, I'm dumb!) unless you're ready for a fight! LOL :P
