Well to be technical I would say that "You are right" would mean admitting you are wrong, but "Maybe you are right" leaves it open for discussion.
-
No, it is leaving the answer open to discussion. No right or wrong conceded. +4

No, you are simply acknowledging that either of you may be right. We usually say that we are tired of arguing about the subject.
-
nope , it means you maybe right but maybe wrong also , 50-50 !!! :)
-
Not in the least. It means that you are considering additional view points to an issue other than your own. That's a good thing! If the other person is, in fact, correct, then you've learned something, thus significantly narrowing the chances that you will be wrong on the same topic in the future. +5

Sometimes,it's just another way of getting someone to STFU!LOL!

MAYBE YOU ARE RIGHTS MEANS....MAYBE YOUR RIGHT!

My wife and I have used that to avoid arguments for a long time. It's kind of equivalent to let's agree to disagree.

I think it's a nice compromise unless your dealing with a hopeless idiot.

It depends on the argument. Few things outside of computers are binary: all one way or all another. The world isn't made of 1s and 0s; there are a lot of shades of gray. On the other hand, if your position in the argument was "I'm right, so you can't be right", then taking the other side ... makes you wrong either way. That is, if you were "right" before but concede that position to the other side of the debate, then now you're both wrong. And if you were wrong before, now you're admitting it. (Which is the first step toward being right.)
