There are numerous men and womens underwear commercials on television. some are really reveiling. so whats the difference for a man/woman to wear their underwear outside their home compared to the tv commercials?

Good question, I dunno. Though, tv people generally have nicer underwear bodies then real world people. And I've always wondered why it is really embarrassing to be seen in your undies but a bikini/speedos is no problem

Nothing. As long as genitalia is covered, you can't be charged for indecent exposure, in most places, even if your tits are hanging out in the breeze. They may ask you to put more clothes on, but legally, there's not much recourse.
