+5 Depends on the song. Some are better in male voices and some are in female. Overall, male voices, what can be said when you have a voice like Elvis to listen too ?

Male. The males usually are not lip singing and are not so fake.

I tend to listen to more male artists, but I don't think it's a gender preference. I just respond well to a lower pitch, and women generally don't have low voices (except for Anne Murray, Karen Carpenter, and Chrissie Hynde).

I prefer to listen to male voices, however, there are a few female voices that I enjoy.

I prefer female voices, but a mans voice has to be outstanding to even compare
