  • No. One can have a qualified doctor diagnose it vs. one's mother.
  • I would definately get to my doctor. You can fix most fractured bones in the foot. Your mother, although she loves you very much knows nothing about medicine. You could be doing perm damage. Get to a doctor now!
  • No, she's not correct. If your foot is broken, it will have to go on a cast so that it can heal properly, if it doesn't you can end up having all kinds of problem as a result
  • No, she is wrong. Years ago I broke 3 bones on the top of my foot and they put me in a cast. It didn't go all the way up my leg, only up to below my knee. Please go to the doctor and get it checked, you could be doing serious damage and they could end up having to rebreak your bone if it heals wrong.
  • Is she a doctor? If not, then visit one. Probably is no certainty at all. She does not have X-ray vision does she? No offence to your mom but there are certain things you want to be sure about. You do not want to suffer from pain everytime you take a walk longer than 15 mins because a bone did not grow back correctly. Something which could have been prevented easily. I root for a visit to the doctor.
  • Im sure she is not correct. You best get that checked out as soon as possible.
  • if you can bend your foot/toes without anything hurting extremely bad, you probably dont have anything broken. you can do a surprising amount of damage just by bruising it badly, ive thought my foot and/or toes were broken a few times in my life, but they never were, it was just bruised very badly. if you can walk on it and function normally, I doubt anything serious is wrong. if you cant walk on it, then either way you should see a doctor.
