You don't have to burn the whole 1200 calories because you burn probably 500 a day just sitting around anyway. You should probably aim to burn between 400-500 a day through exercise. 1200 is actually the minimum calorie requirement for sedentary females so with exercising you most definitely will lose weight.

is your 1200 calories from good sources? don't get caught in the skinny fat category. what's the point of being skinny without being strong? you're not overwieght, so follow the typical requirements of 30min cardio per day, 4+ times a week, strength training 3x per week, and don't forget to stretch (but don't stretch muscles cold, and don't bounce) increased muscle mass will increase resting metabolism and give you shape, cardio will help your heart and lungs and brain

Don't worry about the calories burned with exercise. That's a low calorie diet so just exercise for health rather than trying to know how many calories you are burning.

How tall are you? Being 23 and weighing 130 pounds gives you no reason to lose weight. I am 5'9" and weigh 140. I am thin and in shape. Doesn't seem like you need to worry about your weight. Perhaps just hit the weights and tone up. No need to shed pounds.
