  • Well, considering the substantiating evidence that is given in this website and the sites provided, I would say that there is. As provided here is the website saying the the Mormon Mafia has taken control of many status' within this United States. Website and a lot more where this came from. This shows how the Mormon Mafia was started, and what has happened. It even gives you a place to ask the person who wrote it questions, and he will send you facts and the sites, and other information regarding his claims. http://business.gorge.net/zdkf/kufol/kol-kss.html And at the bottom of this website you will see that there was a case held in courts against a bunch of FBI agents who were Mormon, etc. Please read for yourself. http://www.iclnet.org/pub/resources/text/cri/cri-jrnl/web/crj0094a.html If you would like to hear more about it, please read up for yourself by going on to Google, and in the Search bar type in "Mormon Mafia" there will be approximately 973 websites that have to deal with the Mormon Mafia, I have only given you to. So in light of these sites and the information that they have given, I am sure there is Mormon Mafia Members on this site, as there seems to be Mormon Mafia everywhere.
  • Well, looking at JadeEzekiel84's links, I find the same old anti-Mormon propaganda techniques. The first link in his answer goes to a website that offers absolutely no outside substantiation for any of its claims. The links in the site only refer to other pages on that same site. As far as I can see from my perusal of the site, the author does not even cite any sources for any of his accusations. This gives me absolutely no reason to believe that he knows what he is writing about. As for the second site, I did several web searches for more information of the case in question there. The only reference I could find that used "Mormon Mafia" in connection with the case were, surprise, surprise, anti-Mormon sites. The most unbiased account that I could find of the case (http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1G1-6977488.html) makes no mention of a connection between the Church and the case. It does make clear that Mat Perez took his case all the way to officials in Washington. So, in order to believe the claims of a Mormon Mafia in this case, you have to believe that we pretty much control the FBI. I am sorry, but I find that hard to believe. It sounds to me like more of the same paranoid ranting that I have come to expect of the anti-Mormons. BTW, the account of this that I found most amusing was the one where the author also claimed that we implant tracking devices into our babies during their naming ceremonies. Yep, it is the same old paranoid ravings. It's just that some people have to pin their paranoia on us rather than the CIA. ************ "science_geek: Glenn - I find the tracking device claim to be pretty funny, and I do not give it credence. There is however a functional Mormon Mafia. You must surely know this. You all conspire to further your interests together all the time. I know that as I was raised in the Church, and I have seen it in action from both sides. You are the Liar here and you must surely know it. Is it acceptable for you to lie in the service of you Church? Obviously. The evidence is mounting rapidly. Thank you for being such a fine and shining example of what your 'faith' does for you. It helps me in my openly stated goal of helping innocents to avoid the pitfalls that your cult sets to ensnare them into being a dupe such as you are." So, science_geek, are we also controlling the Council of Foreign Relations, The Bildaburger Group, the Skull and Bones Society, the New World Order, and the Illuminate? Did we assassinate JFK and fake the Moon landings? Your assertions have all the credibility of these other classic conspiracy theories.
  • All I know is that I "got into it" on here one time about Mormonism (I was married to a Mormon once), I think the question was Why does everybody hate Mormons? I replied that I didn't think everyone did, but that some aspects of their religion did cause concern and suspicion. I cited what some of these were - baptismal for the dead, blessing of genitals, polygamy, the fact that the church social services (in some stakes) makes it a practice not to report child abuse, but rather to counsel and pray (I was also a social worker). Anyhow, my comments were magically deleted. If these are agian, I will believe in the Mormon Mafia.
  • I was a member of Answerbag before anyone else who answered this question, besides Glenn Blaylock, and I can honestly and unequivocally tell you, no, there is no Mormon Mafia on Answerbag. I am not pro-Mormon and I'm not anti-Mormon, so you can't accuse me of answering to suit anyone or anything but the truth. There is no "mafia" of ANY kind on Answerbag. I'm tempted to say there's a small group of silly adults who are trying to start something, but I'll leave that alone, for now. I will say this - if you attack these guys - or anyone else - based on their religion and/or church affiliation, you will look ridiculous to get all indignant when they respond defensively. Who doesn't get defensive when he's attacked? This kind of thing has happened several times in the past couple of years and it's real, real, old. Just drop it. Freedom of religion and all that. For the sake of your own reputations and peace on Answerbag, good will toward Answerbaggers, please let it go. Here's a little history about a war on Answerbag. Just like most wars, it got ugly, messy, and more complicated than anyone could have imagined. By the way, and just so you know, I really don't care if you rate this or not. I'm doing it because I'm too lazy to get into all this again. Anyone who knows me will tell you that's in keeping with my general mind-set <grin> http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/111221/249540
  • The "Mormon Mafia" does not exist. "Mormon Mafia" is a term coined by Christopher Hansen, but has no official or legal meaning.
  • Definitely. There are a number of "coincidental" deaths that have occurred that should be investigated. This ties into the LDS temple blood oath (Moses 5:29 Satan telling Cain to keep a secret or to "suffer his life to be taken"~actual LDS temple ceremonial words). Think about the timely death of Alan Barnes, son-in-law to Gordon B. Hinckley, LDS Prophet. Alan had admitted to the FBI that he did write the bribery checks for the Salt Lake Olympics. This is documented in the Salt Lake Tribune newspaper article "Silent Witness." Just prior to the Olympic Scandal trial, Alan Barnes just happened to die weeks after this FBI investigation. Lamont Mills, attorney uncovering LDS leader's corruption, David McComber (officer for whistleblowing), Lady Grace Yamamoto (informant), Doug Johnson (state employee hired wistleblowers for his divorce), Harold B. Lee (repenting of serious blood oath of secrecy & closed down the corporate sole of 1923 Corporation of the President of the church of Jesus Christ of LDS ~ went into hospital for back pain & died mysteriously), Hubert B. Layne (would not lie against innocent party), Paul H. Dunn (embarrassment d/t lies), Dr. Richard Vetterli (ghost writer for Jeffery Holland, knew the corruption of LDS leaders), Joseph K. Stumph, Jr. (sued Zion's Bank & stopped merger of Zion's bank and 1st Security Bank), Jeffery Hubbard (represented illegally fired Zion's Bank employee: David Cade), Pat Westphal (whistleblower), Neal A. Maxwell (CIA agent with CIA MKUltra mind control connection being exposed with Senator Frank Church's expose in Congressional Hearings) and many others also died a "coincidental and timely" death after exposure of their corruption or prior to wistleblowing/repentance. Brigham Young made good use of the "Danite Warriors" as evidenced by the Mountain Meadow Massacre and historical witnessed account by Ann Eliza Young's "The 19th Wife." Blood atonement was fully utilized e.g. suicide or murder of dissenters, sinners, and apostates as evidenced by a sermon by Apostle Grant AND Brigham Young (in the same conference). Here are the infamous words of Grant regarding the unhappiness of ALL of the women in the church regarding polygamy and asking for all sinners to come forward so that "we can shed their blood." This is all now hidden behind a good public relations facade, but the church needs to repent of polygamy, satanic blood oath "suffer my life to be taken" temple oath requirements for divulging secrets, and altering the Book of Mormon changing the identity of God (Mosiah 15:1-5, Alma 11: 23-40, Ether 3:14) as prophesied. The "plain and precious" truths of the Book of Mormon were taken out in 1837. truth seeker Jul, 22 2009 at 11:07 AM [Edit] As declared by Apostle J. M. Grant on September 21, 1856 in a church sermon. He called for personal blood atonement (Mormon Mafia at work) and rebuked wives for complaining about polygamy. “I would ask how many covenant breakers there are in this city and in this kingdom. I believe that there are a great many and if they are covenant breakers we need a place designated, where we can shed their blood... And we have women here who like anything but the celestial law of God; and if they could break asunder the cable of the Church of Christ, there is scarcely a mother in Israel but would do it this day. And they talk it to their husbands, to their daughters, and to their neighbors, and say they have not seen a week's happiness since they became acquainted with that law [plural marriage], or since their husbands took a second wife. • It wouldn't be any surprise if there were and they were using this forum to identify people they believed were their enemies. They have been killing their resistance since day one (according to my research) and what would make them stop now?
  • When they actually believe the are the "Saints of the last days" as spoken of in the Book Of Daniel where "ALL their lawless deeds will be forgiven and they will rule the world forever" (read chapters 4 and 5, I think you'll find it there)- then there is nothing to stop them. Not murder, not theft, not dealing drugs (the CIA)- Nothing. So any mention of mormon mafia is an understatement, in my book.
  • Mormon mafia is an understatement, if I've ever heard one. LOL Try to find someoner who is actually involved in organized crime and ask them about the mormons. I would put what I've heard on here but since many people have so much trouble believing the little things- they surely wouldn't accept some of the truly bazzare things that are going on.
  • I thought mormon mafia was just a joke thing on myspace
