How do i stop my dog from digging holes on my lawn?

Try creating an area in the garden were he is allouwed to dig.encourage him just to dig in that area, perhaps bury some toys in that area to get him interested.and then come down on him hard if he digs elswere. Alternatively just concreate over the lot,that would stop him..
