it passed me up last week...and it was hell to deal with! Seattle has never been over 100 degrees before, and Portland was almost 110!

It has been intense heat where I live for well over a month. 1/4 of the Province is on fire and towns are being evacuated. It has started cooling off a bit today and rain in some areas.

Well it made it to 94 today with a heat index of 102....much to hot for me....

I hear the temperature should hit 90 Monday. The forecast was incorrect for today. It was overcast all day, cool for August with evening showers. Forecast said humid and partly cloudy.

We just got through it here up in western WA state. It was HOT!!! On some days it would get up over 110 degrees F which is really unusual around here. 80-85 is typically the norm.

It is 94 today in Northern California. The heat wave might be nationwide.

Yes, we were. Summer is over. We had a week of 100+ degrees. Several days 105+ and topped out at 110, in Vancouver, WA. That will most likely be our summer. weather has returned to the "normal" overcast sky.
