Yes I sure would
-
Sure, if I had a reason to and researched a good doctor. Needles don't phase me.
-
i would if i had a condition that could be fixed by it
-
Yes. Have had it performed on me several times with good success.
-
yes, i would. my friend had it for her nausea, and it worked, at least temporarily.
-
yea i had it done once, didn't do anything though
-
yes, i get acupuncture on a regular basis my boss does acupuncture. It helps with a variety of pains and ailments.
-
my word. I would try anything, if I could not get relief. I had a friend who was prematurely crippled by arthritis. We urged him to try acupuncture and he was a new man, jumping and running....
-
no and there is no proof that it is an effective method to treat sickness.
-
of course i would, i am all for things that dont involve drugs
-
I want to but haven't yet.
-
Yes, I have had acupuncture treatments several times.
-
If anyone out there chooses to use acupuncture, your best choice is to go to a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac as their title). Licensed acupuncturists are required to take 4 years post graduate equating to between 3 and 4 THOUSAND hours and are required to take national board exams. An MD, will designate himself as practicing medical acupuncture. They only take between a 2 and 3 HUNDRED hour course, don't learn most of the theory work and DO NOT have to pass an exam.
-
Yes! Sounds relaxing to me!
-
Yes. If I needed it and was in a fair ammount of physical pain without it. I'm not going to go out and get stuck with needles purely for the therapeutic effects though.
-
I haven't ever tried it personally but My neighbor had it done to her son to help reduce his seizures. It did seem to help.
-
Yes. I tried it with success for allergies and breathing difficulties. Western medicine often treats the symptoms and not the causes. I turned to acupuncture because pills, shots, and steroid inhalers made me ill and didn't work. The side effects kept me so wired that I couldn't sleep. Traditional Chinese herbs and medicines treat the causes not the symptoms. Seek professionals and you will find as I did that acupuncture works.
-
I used to get acupuncture regularly in fifth grade. I loved to get it, and it rarely hurt.
-
No, I'm freaked about needles (big reason why I'm not tatted). But I hear it really helps if you're in pain. And the sceince behind it makes sense to me.
-
I had acupuncture for an ongoing problem with my arm - my doctor had tried all sorts of different medication and nothing helped, so she suggested I try an alternative. The therapist targeted my neck and the soles of my feet, and in four visits my problem was gone. I am a believer!
-
NEVER EVER EVER EVER IN A MILLION YEARS WOULD I EVER TRY STICKING NEEDLES INTO MY BODY TO CURE ANYTHING!!! i dont care if i would die with out acupuncture, thats so sick. gross
-
yes
-
For some reason acupuncture is really apealing to me. It seems to me that it would relieve stress.
-
No! My worst fears are doctors, dentists, and especially shots (needles)!!! AAAAAAH!
-
yep... ive had it before. It noticeably relaxes you. You can't even feel the needles in you they are so small. Sometimes you get a bit of a tingle feeling but I could'nt really feel anything when I had it.
-
I'd definately try it. Everything is worth trying once.
-
Yes.... I would and I have . I had chronic tendonitis in my elbow. I had cortisone injections, steroids, etc. Nothing worked !! I finally found an accupunturist "From Bejing China". She was actually a professor of accupunture in China. She knew what she was doing !! It took about three sessions, but, It cured my tendonitis and it hasn't returned. You've got to find the right accupunturist though. It's like anything else. There's good ones & bad ones. I was lucky to find this lady !!
-
I've done it and it was the best thing ever
-
Good question, no. I have gotten acupuncture done to me by my mom. She was an acupuncturist (shes dead now). But when I did get it done, it was forcible. Because I had reaally bad allergies and so she forced me to do it. She stuck one needle on the tip of my nose, two in my legs, and one in my neck. Haha, it was the scariest experience ever. But only cause I have a fear of needles. :P Otherwise, acupuncture totally works!
-
If I was in chrnic pain and I felt that accupuncture was know to have a decent success rate with my condition, yes I would. No questions.
-
Never! (I have a phobia of needles)
-
yep, had it done 3 times, it was painful, but for the best!
-
I have on quite a few occasions , mostly it has been helpful, a couple of times not so good . On some occasions bordering on the miraculous. If you get the right practitioner it is a woncerful aid to health and fitness
-
That would depend on what kind of problem I had ... but I have had it as part of a very complex moxibution process ... and as a martial arts instructor, I teach accupressure massage therapy, so I at least understand it and am very familiar with the 713 pressure points(which are also the 713 Prime acupuncture points, there are many more secondary points) ... I'm also a Chinese Herbologist and make most of my own medicines.
-
Yes I have. Interestingly, I was with one of Asia's best accupuncturists in Korea. And he rmoved my moles somehow. Interesting. But I urge all of you guys to try it.
-
Been there done that. And yes, it works. Go for it.
-
yeah id have it on my back,no where else though lol my dads had it and the person who did it did it wrong and stabbed him in his bone at on his ankle, thats gotta hurt oooooo
-
i would love to.
-
Yes and it's been wonderful. Has worked on all sorts of things, even helped dogs. One needle and they were completely relaxed. If you are afraid of needles, though, try accupressure, not quite as quick and effective but I actualy prefer it for it's thoroughness and it seems to help even more things, possibly because massage is involved as a whole body experience.
-
I tried it before and couldn't walk for 3 days afterwards...
-
I had it on my heels. Its crap.
-
I have a few times with incredible results. It is far superior to so called conventional medicine. It cured some of my ailments.
-
When I was 6 it took 5 adults to hold me down so they could sample my blood. I dont like needles so nope have not tried it. Are you thinking about trying it or have you shelby?
-
No , though I went through where they , stuck needles all over me at one time , to see what was wrong - I felt humiliated , I forget the name of it Hi Shelby +5
-
I have once before. It helps with a variety of pains and ailments. I would try it again.
-
Never tried it.
-
I'm scared to. I hate needles. Plus, I'm of the impression that it's a placebo effect, but I haven't actually tried it, so it's only an assumption.
-
Yes, and it works wonders. It relieved back and neck pain. A friend of mine had dentistry done without any other anesthesia. She felt no pain. And I've seen it done on horses and it releases severe back pain on the horse. You couldn't put a saddle on his back and the next day you could ride him and he was comfortable moving his back and flexing. My husband does shiatsu massage which is like acupressure, touching and manipulating the same points of the body that you get needles stuck in. It is quite affective too and better for people that dont' like needles.
-
Yes I have on frequent occasions. Mostly it has been of a great help now and again it has little effect. If for some reason it does not work the first time do not give up because sometimes it feels almost like a miracle
-
Yes. ... and I teach accupressure massage therapy and accupressure point combat methods, so I am very familiar with the 713 accupunture/accupressure points on the human body.
-
Yes, & take it from me, this is DEFINATELY something you don't want to try on your own at home.
-
It IS a very effective alternative therapy. However it DOES NOT work for everybody and when it does it is because the therapist knew EXACTLY what they were doing.
-
Yes I have tried it and I think it is wonderful for releiving pressure in the muscles
-
I think so. Many years ago I tried it to give up smoking, they put three studs in the side of my ear. If I wanted a smoke, I pushed the first one. If I wanted to eat because I wasn't smoking, I pushed the next one. Can't remember what the third one was for. Early one morning, I left my house, went to my truck, unlocked and opened the door. A hand appeared over my shoulder, a pack of cigarettes flew past me and into the cab. A voice whispered into my ear. Smoke these before you come home you cranky bast---d.
-
If I could afford it, ABSOLUTELY!!!
-
YES. I did and would do it again. I had severe sciatica from my butt to my ankle for 10 weeks and the first time on the table and 12 needles later (he even hooked them up to electricity) the pain was gone.
-
Yes, when I was seriously ill in the mid-90s.
-
Yes. I was pretty skeptical, but my mother took me to her doctor. The acupuncture got rid of my migraines, which was a relief since I didn't want to take the prescriptions.
-
One of my doctors suggested the possibility of acupuncture for my back problems...I laughed at him! I hate needles, it's hard enough getting me to let you put one in me...no thank you!!
-
No, but I'm interested
-
fuck needles. Pain isn't going to help you.
-
Yes. I have tried it many times. It is a form of energy medicine, and quite effective. It is even accepted now in leading teaching hospitals in the U.S. It is becoming mainstream.
-
I have had acupuncture and it apparently worked .. as the pain left within a few treatments ...
-
yes, I would like to try it to help me with headaches.
-
I thought it was a bunch of Hokus Pokus medicine. That is till I went to the chiropractor for my neck and mentioned my elbow had been aching for about a week. He put 3 needles in there somewhere and left them about 15 minutes. Then about 2 hours later, no pain. I am a believer now.
-
I would like to try it sometime. Never had the opportunity. I have plenty of pains esp the back
-
Nah, I'll just stick with Budweiser. ;-)
-
only if it was a virus
