Absolutely. To have met the most wonderful person that has ever lived on earth would be perfect. I pray though I would not have rejected Him as so many did, but I fear I may have done so to save my life and keep out of the Authority's judgement.
-
If he existed sure. I don't buy the son of god thing, but I'd go see what he was really like. I think he'd look more like Dustin Hoffman than Peter Frampton.
-
I would actively search Him out and very well may have.
-
Oh, of course. But out of sheer curiosity, I'd want to meet his mother Mary even more.
-
Yes I would, But I will see him one day.
-
Yes! He was proclaimed by thousands in every city to be performing miracles and healing the sick. I'd love to have been able to sit at His feet, the way Mary and Martha did, and just listen to Him speak.

Considering not a single historian that was alive at the same time as Jesus was 'alive' even recorded him existing... I'd say that if i was alive at the same time as Jesus.. Either he didn't exist, Or didn't become popular until 200 or so years after his death. So i probably wouldnt have been able to meet him.

Yes If I were not employed as a Roman Soldier, or If I needed some cheap carpentry work done, and/or If I were poor, diseased, old, landless, homeless, penniless, otherwise miserable, etc.; and/or If I had sodomy-tendencies and I knew he had too, or If I thoght I had a fair chance to pull Mary Magdalene... and If I lived within walkable distance from Jesus.

aboard a ship beaten down with 50' waves in the pacific ocean - ummm, probably.

Even though the world population was much less 2000 years ago most people had never heard of him. Far more people today have heard the story. Even if I had heard of him I would not have gone to see him. Nor would I today
-
yes...and many a Jew and Gentile did....and many a Jew and Gentile , BELIEVED...because they saw and heard....'but BLESSED even more so ,will be those who did not SEE and HEAR, yet BELIEVE...:)
-
sure, I would have wanted to be his deciple.
-
I'm not convinced those are the only conditions needed to see Jesus Christ.
-
Only at the Mount. That would have been pretty cool. I imagine it like it is portrayed in The Life of Bryan.
