How do I get my two year old to to let me trim his toe nails? My fiancee used to help me by holding him still, but now that he's passed it's impossible to get the child to sit still for me.

    Do it whilst he's asleep.

Persistence is the only way. If you can outlast him once he'll probably realize it isn't so bad and you can make some sort of game out of it so he'll have no more problems.

I resorted to biting the nails off. Yeah, it might sound gross, but he thinks it's hilarious, and even after I'm done, he tries to get me to keep doing it. (Bad experience with the clippers, he jerked while I cut, which ended in cutting off some skin and alot of bleeding)
