A person's weight, in my opinion, has little to do with cooking abilities. However, I can understand why some people would say that cooks who aren't rail thin would have more 'experience' with the food. A skinny person could totally be a great cook. It's called portion control :)
-
I disagree, size has nothing to do with the ability to be a great cook. I know some skinny people who are great cooks, although most of us that over sample our cooking tend to be a pound or two overweight. : )

im thin and small and im a gr8 cook +5
-
rubbish - i am skinny and a good cook - i just watch what i eat and my portion size
-
Nah, you can attack that goofy logic with even more goofy logic when someone asks you that, just say... "It's the other way around, porkers will obviously eat anything, the skinny ones don't eat as much, so they make what they do eat taste as good as possible."
-
Come taste my food, I guarantee I will change your mind.
-
I smell you cooking a little bias there...
-
Wrong. since many people claim their weight is caused by a glandular problem, somehow whatever causes the glandular problem imbues the ability to cook? it's kinda like saying non-alcoholics can't be great winemakers, printers must be inveterate readers,
-
There are a lot of very bad fat chefs, just as there are some very good blind artist!
-
disagree, my friend ginger is thin and the best cook ever...
-
I've heard that. It's stupid, for the reasons said. Also, you don't need to cook high fat/sodium/sugar/carb meals to be agreat cook, the better cooks know how to make equally tasty meals which are really heatlhy too!
