  • Oh god, yes. Today is my 2 year wedding anniversary, but I was away from my husband last year. This year, we're getting a divorce.
  • Yes, but only because today's my work anniversary. Otherwise, I couldn't tell you where I was yesterday.
  • Probably only could base it on where I was with my general life or by paper records. Since I think today last year was a Sunday I was probably in church. What happened after that I don't remember.
  • i was packing ... i was 5 days away from closing on our new house
  • No, but that is the exact reason they have depositions. The court system takes a long time to process ANY case, but they conduct depositions of witnesses soon after the case is filed. They may then rely on these depositions in the future during the trial.
  • No, I don't even remember what happened last week...
  • Not likely, I can remember what William the Conqueror did in 1066 but not what I did yesterday without help. LOLOL
  • If it happened before today don't count on me remembering. That's OK though, because if I was a witness to something that was going to end up in court I would have given a statement to the police. The very act of doing that would probably imprint it all on my mind, but just in case (in my home country) I would be allowed to refresh my memory from my original statement anyway.
  • Oh hell yes. My life consists of working, taking care of my teenage son, dying my hair and eating...lol
  • If it had something to do with the case, then I probably would (because if I didn't, I don't know why I'd be taking the stand!) However, under normal circumstance, no. I cannot recall one week ago today, or one month ago today, let alone one year ago today.
  • No chance - I can't remember what I did 2 weeks ago! :)
  • No. I'm battling to remember what I had for tea last night.
  • Perhaps if something significant happened on that day...I would.
  • I can barely remember what I did yesterday!Lol!!
  • No, I would be at a total loss.
  • Remember it is not your duty to prove where you have been, the burden of proof will always be upon the state that puts you in the witness stand.
  • I don't have the slightest clue.
  • "Physcho is back baby" was right on. The human mind is not completely understood. It is possible to jar someone's memory and get details without them realizing they had them stored. The problem is that those details could be completely fictitious and made up or confused by putting different experiences all into one time frame. That's why science is more valuable then people's memory. But the key to science is being able to read and understand the results. In fact all those fire/arson experts have found to be bogus and completely inaccurate and misinformed. They have put many innocent people away. We are getting better and better especially with DNA but we are still not there. The programs on TV are a joke. No police department has the ability as shown in those TV programs. It's all fake......CSI people do not do investigative work at all and never interrogate witness or make arrests. The ones' that work the field always wear protective suits not like the Blonds with their boobs hanging out. They are also rather low paid. Many crime scenes are totally mishandled as is evidence. Many guilty people get off because of this. A well known author(forgot her name) just gave a New York school(I think it was John Jay College) a million dollars to help teach proper CSI and criminal investigation to criminal students. If it were like TV the jails would be over flowing and we would be able to walk the streets anywhere, anytime without fear, which is not the case at all.
