no suby i cannot. at work we get emails every 4 hours listing all our team members and our stats. i strive to be number 1 and this of course helps me do a good job !

Either Bill Gates was being extraordinarily honest, or extraordinarily self-deluded. Given the wide range of highly anti-competitive behaviors Microsoft has engaged in over the years, either Gates is full of *#@&* or he means "I not in competition with anyone because I CRUSH anyone who tries to compete with me". Gates is one of the *last* people on Earth from whom I would take advice.

Yes, completely. I didn't realise Bill Gates said that. I've said the same thing about myself for years now. I only ever want to improve upon my own performance, not anybody else's.
