  • Yes I do think that the "moral" issues are over touted. Stem cell research not only will find a way to use fetus stem cells (as one example of stem cell source) but also will lead to the developments that will lead to the "farming" or the production of stem cells to meet what promises to be a huge need. There is no way that enough stem cells can be harvested through say abortions. Scientists already know this and would be keen to find ways to grow stem cells from cultures - much like we grow antibiotics, flu vaccines etc from "stock" that does not occur naturally in usable amounts.
